![]() Guess what? CarPlay now connects faster and more reliably and not sure if it’s true but to me even sounds better. Very easy You dont need all the extra cabling that was required to use the AppRadio part of the NEX. My installer, like most, have a cable coming out from the back of my unit that I can plug directly into. Fortunately, I own practically every possible adapter known to man and I had this one available (USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter, Nimaso USB C Female to USB Male Adapter, USB C 3.1 Gen 1 Adapter 5Gbps Compatible with iPhone 11 12 Mini Pro Max,iPad 2020, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 S21 S20 Plus, Google Pixel ). All you need is a standard USB to Lightning cable and connect it to the USB1 connection on the back of the unit. Of course now I’d need an adapter because my Volt obviously came with USB ports not USB-C. Well, on a whim I decided to try using the Lightning to USB-C cable that came with my new phone. This had never happened before and I was using the same Apple-branded Lightning to USB cable I’d always used-the one that came with my XS Max. short lightning cable for apple carplay,ibell torch light price,images of candle light dinner,living room ceiling track lights,lowes closet light fixtures. I’d been getting these weird errors when trying to play media from sources like Apple Music or Amazon Music. I had been having a lot of problems with CarPlay in my 2017 Chevy Volt lately after upgrading to the iPhone 12 Pro Max from the XS Max. ![]() ![]() CarPlay would disconnect then reconnect, disconnect then reconnect. Not all Lightning to USB cables are created equal. ![]() ![]()
